Email of the Week

I was chatting with a friend the other day about 100 Things and he asked me if I knew how far reaching it was. My answer was short and sharp; ‘Not really’. I’ve never been one for details!

Of course when giving a keynote presentation or dealing with people directly the feedback is always complimentary and I often hear that people or groups are motivated or inspired but today’s ‘Email of the Week‘ ┬áreminds me that there is ongoing and positive effects for those willing to act of their moment of motivation.

It’s email like these that keep me going!

“Hello!

My name is Kirsten and I am 14 years old. A couple of years ago when I was in year 7 (I am now in year 9), I had a leadership conference at Dreamworld since I was a vice school captain. You were one of the guest speakers and hearing you speak to us, inspired me so much that I am writing to thank you (only two years late).

You have seriously changed my life and allowed me to open my mind. I have since created my own list and it has been very fun, challenging and eye-opening completing it. You are an amazing person and have done amazing things.

Thank you for everything!

Kirsten”

Well done Kristen and keep up your great work.

I’m humbled :)
