Six years ago today I boarded a plane armed with a backpack and a list of 100 things. Little did I know that my own personal pursuit of happiness would lead to what is now a movement of positivity that affects people globally.
Number 82- Hitch Hike Across the USA- One of my first items in 2009…
On this special day (which is also my own birthday!) I’d like to take a moment of gratitude and send love to my mate Chris (and his family) who largely inspired me to reconsider my life’s direction. I’d also like to thank those reading this who have shared so much support through the years. Without you this would not be happening. The last 12 months have been incredible: on this day last year I was handed my Mauritian International Rugby Cap (#44) and somehow won the African Championships in Botswana before then taking the first of two 100 Things group trips to Machu Picchu and then India.

From getting into a Bollywood Movie (#7) and Making a London Guard Laugh (#81) it was Saving a Life (#5) of first Parker the Dog and then a special young girl that stands out as a highlight. Raising $100,000 for Alzhemier’s Australia meant the world to me and now being able to call myself an ambassador for Make-A-Wish Australia fills me with pride.

I’ve spoken around the world via keynote presentations & workshops to over 200,000 people spreading the positivity of 100 Things but it excites me to know that even amongst a host of other achievements and developments each year, it’s this upcoming 6th year that will really blow the roof off the journey.
The first time I helped a deserved kid from the Make-A-Wish Foundation
In a few weeks I fly to the USA to develop an app that will help people to help people on a global scale and I’ll also be discussing the development of a TV show focused on helping people help people. At present I’m preparing to lead another 3 group trips to Mt Kilimanjaro, Cambodia and Antarctica and in a random twist I also just received an invitation to LA for a casting into a Hollywood Movie (#38).
Delivering my 100 Things keynote presentation in Prague earlier this year…
Many people ask me what my plans are for 100 Things and although there was a time where I didn’t really think about it, I think it’s about time I dreamt big and boldly stated that i’m going to do everything I can to make sure it changes the world into an even better place. This upcoming year will be amazing. I think my upcoming USA trip will start the ball rolling but in-between now and then perhaps I can start by posing one simple question to you;
What’s on your list?
Give it a moment because I think the answer has the potential to not just change your life but also change the lives of those around you.
Thank you again and watch this space.
