Over 200 people attended the first 100 Things public presentation last week and I firstly want to say a big thanks for the support! We all enjoyed music from Matt Boylan Smith and were entertained throughout thanks to good mate and talented MC Michael Crossland- thanks guys! With one lucky audience member winning an international travel gift Voucher (thanks to Intrepid Travel) and a someone else ending up covered in egg after unsuccessfully trying to break my own Guinness World Record (crushing the most amount of eggs with their toes in 30 seconds), the night was not just entertaining but one which i’ve received a lot of feedback about being a positive catalyst for change for many who were present. I couldn’t be happier.

Stemming from the feedback that I get from every talk I give, it was clear to me years ago that outside of one 60-minute talk, a lot of people wanted to know how to apply my messaging to their own lives. After speaking to these people individually over the years it seemed that their concerns could be put into a few different baskets;
* I’m looking for something else in life but I don’t know how to start
* I know what I want to do but I have no idea how to take the first step
* I know where I want to go but something’s stopping me
* I’ve experienced a form of adversity/hardship and i’m trying to overcome it
* I feel I need to find purpose and meaning
* I think i’m on the right track but I want to make sure
It was clear that there were still many questions that needed answering and so I simply decided to develop an interactive workshop of all that I speak about but focusing on YOU (or them).
Having run several of these workshops to date for the public, businesses and universities, I’ve been blown away with the results. From people re-establishing their values, strength and beliefs, to incredible goals being reached that have seen both tangible and intangible outcomes, lives have been changed.
After mentioning this workshop on the night of the talk (with some people demanding that they come!) I’ve decided to offer another limited numbers 2-day Workshop in Sydney this May 14th & 15th! It feels like the right time to do it again.
Whether it’s for personal change, professional consideration or community driven reasons, the workshop allows perspective, imparts practical tools and creates a start-point for anyone thinking about what’s next and wanting to action positive change.
